The School for New Learning was designed for adults
who want to achieve more in their personal and professional
lives.
Our students are involved in almost every imaginable
profession: teachers, administrators, artists, human
resource professionals, computer specialists, marketers,
and public safety officers to name a few. Many plan
to attend graduate school, business school or law
school. Most progress in their current career as well
as successfully move into new fields during their
enrollment at SNL. Others build the skill for a satisfying
retirement.
Of the SNL undergraduate students who completed their
degree in 2003, 79.8% were employed within six months
of graduation. An additional 7.3% enrolled in graduate
school and just under 1% were not seeking employment
at that time. Of those who were employed, 19.4% were
in better jobs with new employers.

of a major Chicago law firm.
