Program Costs
The School for New Learning is most interested that you
possess the learning required to meet your goals, rather
than making you take a prescribed number of courses. You
can satisfy degree requirements in several different ways:
- You can take SNL courses, online or on-campus.
- Tuition is $422 per credit hour. The average SNL course
is four credit hours, which means that each course is
approximately $1688.
- You can complete two degree requirements each time
you take an SNL course (for most SNL courses), with
each degree requirement equal to two quarter hours of
tuition.
- You can transfer prior college courses (grade of at
least C- ) for no fee.
- You can transfer college-level learning from appropriate
experiences. This is assessed for a fee of $150 per
submission.
- There are also a small number of required courses.
Given this flexibility, there is the potential for huge
tuition savings. When compared to traditional private
higher education tuition costs, DePaul's SNL can save
you up to 50%!
